San Silverio Shrine of Dover Plains, New York

"Frances Pope Memorial Foundation"

The San Silverio Shrine of Dover Plains is a not for profit organization.  We are proud to give back to the community by donating to charity.  A charity that we have adopted and is dear to our hearts is the "Frances Pope Memorial Foundation."  This foundation assists families who have children devasted by cancer.  Every year the SSS has a raffle where there are five ($1000) winners and one ($10,000) winner.  Coupled with our raffle baskets that offer many exciting prizes, we give a portion of these proceeds directly to the "Frances Pope Memorial Foundation."  Join us at our 49th Dinner Dance, Friday, October 21, 2011 where you can be a part of the excitement and also give back to a wonderful and meaningful cause.

If you would like to donate directly to the Frances Pope Memorial Foundation contact webmaster@sansilveroshrine.org so that your donation is included with donations from the San Silverio Shrine family.

Toy Drive

It has been a tradition the past few years to have a Toy Drive at our annual Christmas Party!  Guests who attend the party bring an age appropriate new toy wrapped and labeled for a boy or girl.  The many gifts are then delivered to a "Toys for Tots" location or "Ronald McDonald House."  We have also donated to "Blythdale Childrens Hospital" in Westcheter County.

This year we ask that you save the date...Sunday, December 4, 2011 and join us at our annual Christmas Party and help us to make our Toy Drive a huge success!

Thank you for your constant support and dedication!

Charity
Soldiers

Our Soldiers fight for our freedom overseas and we Thank God for their safe return.  This year we held a drive for supplies for our Soldiers.  This drive was held at our Christmas Party.  Guests came with many items for our men and women in combat.  We were proud to see the out pouring of support for them by the amount of supplies!

Thank you for your generosity!
